This is a sample of an 18 vol set, the first canto ,part 1 contains all the secrets of spiritual life, it is the king of knowledge, the cream of all literature, because it reveals the natur of the self, the soul and the indentity of the supreme personality, Krsna. This Bhagavat Purana is eternal, and is written in the ancient sanskrit language, translated word by word, and then a full translation of each verse (sloka). That is followed by a commentary drawing on all the leading teachers of Vedanta over thousands of years, from all spiritual traditions of what is collectively known as Hinduism.
