Synopsis
: Linda Plunkett, once the epitome of mental and physical health, received a message over the phone she never expected in a million years: "I'm sorry to tell you this, but you have a brain tumor." The news of the tennis-ball-sized tumor rocked her, as well as the fact that the tumor required immediate surgery. Devastating circumstances followed the surgery, a supernatural rescue by God, but ultimately a major medical diagnosis telling her that "there was nothing they could do to help her." Linda's book is a book of hope to others experiencing devastating circumstances, those suffering physical and spiritual pain, that no matter what, God can still have a good plan for their lives!

: Linda Plunkett holds a Ph.D. in Christian Psychology and has operated Hope for the Hurting for over 20 years, counseling hundreds of individuals and couples, as well as teaching many groups in the United States and as far away as Guatemala since 1999. Currently, she encourages groups and individuals as an inspirational speaker, offering talks on many topics. She also continues to pursue writing and is the author of two books,

. Linda has been married to her husband, Jim, for over 35 years, and they have three adult children. God has been her "strength in weakness," getting her through life's most difficult times and allowing her to encourage others never to give up!
