This anthology endeavours to understand the gender-based schism in the society and seeks to comprehend the extent of the damage caused by patriarchy in different realms of human life. The anthology comprises of nine essays interspersed with verse and ends in a poem which challenges the clichés regarding womanhood through the image of Kali, the ferocious female Indian Goddess.
