Halbrynne, Jax, and their friend Sotaa are sophomore university students at The Academy, are in the throes of self-discovery when their school is attacked, seemingly at random. From that moment on, they find themselves caught up in an attempted societal revolution by a group long assumed defunct. The trio, at the behest of one of their professors, and with a desire to keep the world they know safe, set off uncover the truth. Along the way new bonds are forged in the shadows of tragedy and struggle, as the trio learn more about themselves and their society than expected.
