"The Art of Evening Dress"
features 22 unique pencil drawings depicting dresses and evening gowns inspired by Haute Couture traditions. It originated from the concept of the "Haute Couture Fashion Illustration Resource Book," a publication aimed at professional dress designers, and all the illustrations in the coloring book are of professional couture designs. The artwork is presented in two color tones - the original pencil tone and a light grey tone, allowing for creative editing and different color renditions. The paper within the book is specifically for dry media, such as pencils, crayons, sketching sticks, and pastels, and is unsuitable for watercolor. To prevent ink from bleeding through or leaving marks or grooves underneath the coloring page, place extra sheets of paper under the book if using markers or gel pens. Lastly, use the "test pages" at the book's end to experiment with different art media before applying them to the actual coloring pages.
