In a remote village in the mountains of West Virginia, hints of evil in the woods and hills become apparent as the issue of human trafficking confronts the citizens. Each chapter introduces the reader to a new character in the narrative and describes the moral strength of a community determined to purge this sin from their home. Four Army Rangers from the legendary 80th, a young CIA case officer, and a retired Russian spy with an attitude, merge with the community of Deacon's Hollar to rescue trafficked children and put the area back in balance.
