James Ahlborn was born into turmoil. After the death of his father and mother, he sets on a journey out west from the plains of Colorado, and soon discovers the harsh cruelty and savage brutality of the untamed American west. James ventures out to the growing city of San Francisco in search of autonomy, clarity, and purpose. His journey faces him with the deeds of a vicious gang, the mad leadership of a rogue gray general, and the desolate land of manifest destiny, and forces him to decide to hold his morals, or abandon them in the name of survival.
