delivers more of the intense, pop-tinged punk that the group introduced on
Letterbox
. However, this collection of songs is tighter and brighter, while retaining the band's emotional pull. Songs like
"As You Wish"
and
"Things Look Brighter"
display all of
's sonic trademarks - aggressive rhythms and guitars pitted against soaring harmonies - as well as sharp songwriting and a healthy respect for pop hooks. Though
doesn't break any new musical territory here, with
