Edo the Green is a master thief well known in certain circles. Able to disappear, or never be seen at all, with seemingly magical precision. While for hire to those that require his services, Edo's true goal remains his own secret; to steal every magical object he finds and spirit them away to his vault.
Knowing from his own experience that magic is rooted in another realm filled with malevolent creatures bent on their world's destruction, he seeks to save those that would be vulnerable to their corruption, while also trying to stay out of the tumultuous troubles of the land itself.
But when Bray Ladroth, better known as the Backwater Kingdom, erupts into a civil war, Edo discovers that the rebel leader carries a powerful object that cannot be controlled, and is forced to take sides before it's too late.
