A small but spirited Christmas tree sits on a holiday tree lot and dreams of finding a home with a loving family at Christmas time. Although many customers show interest in the little tree, they all end up selecting a much larger tree to take home with them. When the lot closes on Christmas Eve the tree becomes despondent and cries itself to sleep. Later that night, the little tree receives some unexpected help from a passing angel and on Christmas Day it awakes to find that all of it's dreams have come gloriously true.
