The animated film focuses on the friendship bond between Yui and Hiyori. The two girls seek solace and sanctuary at Kiwa's old house. Offering them a safe haven during difficult times, Kiwa helps the girls recover. One day, strange creatures called Fushigitto wander the house, and the girls go on a magical adventure together to truly understand the meaning of home. Based on the novel by Sachiko Kashiwaba.
