While taking a view of His life somewhat similar to that of Thomas Paine's in The Age of Reason, The Jew From Nazareth is careful to see His life as an extraordinary Jewish one from birth to death filled with accurate period descriptions of Hebrew practices and yet not devoid of aspects of the supernatural associated the numerous messianic rabbis and others that walked the streets of Jerusalem and other towns during the reign of Tiberius Julius Caesar Augustus.
