The Launderer is the third novel in my Sean Murphy series. As with the first two, it is short and can be digested in one trip, in the center seat, flying across the country. In this story, Sean's son-in-law, Jeffery, finds himself entangled with a mafia money launderer, Sydney Trocheck, putting Wanda, Sean's daughter, and Sean's grandchildren at risk. Working undercover with the FBI, Sean tracks Sydney to an Indian casino in Idaho, flipping him into becoming an FBI informant. The FBI brings Jeffery and Sydney together, forming the nucleus of the takedown team. Along the way, Sean meets Susan, an FBI agent, providing the makings of a potential romance. The story ends with an unexpected encounter between Sean and El Honcho's (the cartel boss from Satisfaction) nephew.
