A second grisly murder occurring in nearby Wilton is quickly linked to the case and the police are on the hunt for a dangerous murderer out for revenge. Meg and Lauren turn their investigation to the question of his accomplice: they are certain there must be an insider in the care home who let the murderer in for his first kill.
What Meg and Lauren don't realise is that the murderer will stop at nothing to protect his accomplice, and they are now facing a very real threat to their lives.
