What is life like as the last of your species? For Sigmund Vells, it's simple; drink tea, do odd jobs for wealthy clients, and keep a low profile. If his reputation doesn't exceed being a professional mercenary, he can call it a successful day. The minor issue of him being the last surviving vampire notwithstanding, of course.
Still, Sigmund enjoys his simple life as a mercenary, helping who he can and comfortably passing the time reading old books and learning new hobbies. His days of hunting down prey and draining their blood are long behind him. That is, until a young princess asks for his help in capturing a vampire roaming the countryside, leaving desiccated corpses in its wake. After all this time, another vampire surviving under his nose is simply impossible...isn't it?
Faced with a past he long thought dead, Sigmund must come to terms with this new reality and find that he may no longer be the last of his species. If true, who could this vampire be, and who might have created them?
