A Chorus for Crime
Elora's invitation to a popular music festival in central Valoria is meant to be a fun opportunity to perform for large audiences. She so rarely gets the chance to sing for more than a full taproom on the road, and the request is far too kind and flattering to turn down.
Except, she hadn't expected to encounter those who know her music, nor to feel a little embarrassed to face such celebrity, especially over songs she's not entirely proud of. Even Elora Tune (no fabled Yestervere surname required!) seems to have made a name fo herself that she didn't know about!
Even worse, despite her normal reluctance to take charge, Elora has no choice when she is suddenly embroiled in a conspiracy involving stolen magic, protestors and yet another a murder that really isn't her business. The fate of a thralled pixie lures her into the case. Now exposed as the Yestervere she is and geased to solve the crime, Elora's life is at risk in more ways than one as she juggles fans, fame and malfeasance.
But can she find the killer before the very spell that tasked her with the case crushes her for failure? Or will she spend all of eternity suffering the consequences? That is, if the killer even allows her eternity...
