Racism, Slavery, and Hatred in America have been a horrific, deplorable, and growth & life stunting part of American culture and history. It has opened Pandora's box to unlimited scenes and events of tragedy, death and loss - from the nationally known murder of George Floyd in 2020, to the killing of Philando Castile in 2016, to the to the almost invisible scene of four murdered young, Black men in Greenwood, MS, on Jan 17, 1977 - at the Tallahatchie River (and bridge, near old Wade Plantation). Racism, Slavery, and Hatred have put unseen roadblocks and speed bumps to hinder a people from progressing in every walk of life, such as in medicine, industry, education, sports, music, civil rights, politics, science & technology, and more. There has been progress and achievements but so much more could have and can be achieved without incidents of racism and hatred. Bottom line, as great as America has been (and is) we can be an even greater nation with us all having and showing respect to one another. We have seen and experienced similar incidents (as mentioned above) but with respect for our self and others, we can learn from our history and not repeat some of these scenes and events of tragedy, death, and loss.
