Author Khadijah bears all in a transparent but informing non-fictional story of how she survived being abused between the ages of 2-16 in a muslim community in Cleveland Ohio. A frightened young girl battered by those who were suppose to protect her with no where to run, she eventually learns to use her turmoil and struggles as a stepping stone on to a platform that will help others. Khadijah has since removed her veil she use to mask her hurt and pain and ventures now to pull others out through her numerology readings, messages, music, yoga and dance this is an extraordinary book of hope and self identity.
