Things aren't right in the Faerie citadel and Molly is stuck on both sides of the fight. Despite spying for the Menagerie, she's now part of the group opposing them. The resistance hide in plain sight, including her previous nemesis turned awkward acquaintance Talie.
But then kidnapped fairies are brought in from outside the heavily protected citadel, and rumours of harmful genetic experiments to achieve gift replication are rife.
As Molly and Talie grow closer, the true enemy becomes clear. But the truth hurts, especially when Molly's past turns out to be linked to the citadel's uncertain future.
