The experiences explored in the book are going to include five themes: class, bullying, Tamara's experience being a "class migrant," codependency, and resilience. Tamara has spent most of her life feeling like an outcast and like she had to earn value from other people. This belief had her working hard to prove she belonged and deserved a seat at the table. This has helped Tamara achieve career success, but soon the well of earning approval ran dry and she was left one option: healing.
