This manual, Training Circular TC 3-11.20 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosives Command Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Training Strategies July 2024, provides chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) training strategies for 20th CBRNE Command CBRN units but may also be useful for other CBRN units and components. This training circular integrates CBRN into Army training, readiness, exercises, planning, and operations. It fills a gap until the US Army CBRN School publishes new Army Training and Evaluation Programs (ARTEP) for Army CBRN units in the 2025-2026 timeframe. It provides useful information for CBRN leaders and Soldiers including CBRN validation tables (CVT) which CBRN units can use in the field to standardize and improve their CBRN training programs. Adherence to the CVT and associated training methodology in this training circular will improve the readiness of CBRN units within 20th CBRNE Command. The result will be CBRN units that are trained and ready to meet global requirements for Combatant Commanders in large-scale combat operations during multi-domain operations.
