Richard Branson's Poem to Entrepreneurs
If I were to describe my journey, I probably could not say it any better than Richard Branson's poem here. Behind the fancy cars, suits, and big houses, entrepreneurs go through rigorous journies to be successful. When I mounted the ladder to entrepreneurship, I honestly had no idea what I was doing. As a little boy, I was feeding my curiosity with different ventures starting from scratch. You see, when you come from nearly nothing, you barely have anything to lose. I mean, what lies beyond rock bottom, right? I think that is where my saving grace lay. In retrospect, I finally understand that things happen for a reason, whether we like it or not. We can either accept our situation or stay in denial about our struggle. The former will help you take the next step to fix your circumstances, while the latter leads to refutation and trying to put up a successful front and fool ourselves into oblivion. Either way, you have to take responsibility for your life because no one else will do it for you.
