The messenger dragon Brimstone announces that the Kingdom of Audland is under attack by gargoyles. Aunt Amaryllis is too busy stirring a magic potion to come to the rescue, so she sends her niece Violet, who brings a new friend, Bertram, to help her save Audland. Even Brimstone can't come, because he's too busy chasing away pixies from the lawn. Can Violet and Bertram save the kingdom by themselves?
