Beginning in the deserts of Nevada, scientists develop a contagious virus used for "war" purposes on both the living and the dead. When the virus is released by fault, it spreads across the world. Two brothers from Washington, Justin and Alex are joined with six teens, Keith, Avery, Holly from Colorado and Joel, Zackary, and Jenny from Lubbock as they travel, facing hostile humans and the undead, in search of a cure. This is just the beginning for the survivors.
