The purpose of this book is to help provide answers to the question, "Why do bad things happen to God's people." It is our prayer that this book will also provide hope and encouragement to individuals and families who have been affected by some of life's painful experiences.____________Our family has been serving the Lord for more than fifty years, and in spite of that, we have had more than our share of pain and suffering. There are very few trials, hurts, or problems people can face that our family has not already faced. We have had financial problems, health problems, social problems, moral problems, suicides, and premature death.
