What are the prerequisites for our knowledge of religion or our knowledge on other knowledge about religion - and what makes it academic or scientific knowledge? The issue is not only on the problem of how we can acquire well-founded knowledge about religion, but also on the conditions of the possibility that religion can become a subject of our knowledge at all. This volume brings together essays from Religious Studies and Intercultural Theology dealing with selected aspects of this topic.
