The author was raised in the Bible Belt during the Great Depression and had the benefit of a lot of church-going. Bible history was read about and discussed regularly. Over time, this knowledge accumulated into a great respect for the interaction between God and the events and personalities of the day. This book hopes to place the reader into a "nearness" to the action that helps a person appreciate our "generational time capsule" when it is ours.
