Thomas N. Davidson served over 27 successful years as a
law enforcement practitioner with the Indiana State Police Department. Mr.
Davidson was a security planner for the Tenth Pan American Games held in
Indianapolis, an advisor to the State Police Executive Staff, and is an
experienced hostage/crisis negotiator. He served as the Department's
commander of the hostage/crisis negotiator team units and is the author of
Hostage Crisis Critical Incident Manual, a guide for police response to
critical incidents. He is also the co-author of
The Complete Idiot's Guide
to Home Security

Mr. Davidson has training and experience in forensic science, explosive
ordnance disposal and criminal investigation.
Mr. Davidson worked with the United Kingdom's London Metropolitan Police
Department, as part of an exchange program, at the beginning of the Gulf
War. Mr. Davidson is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He holds a
Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Indiana University School of
Law-Indianapolis and undergraduate degrees in Criminal Justice and Business
Management. He is a member of the Indiana Bar. Mr. Davidson is an adjunct
faculty member with Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis,
Indiana Wesleyan University, The University of Indianapolis and Concordia
University. He is a certified police Master Instructor. Mr. Davidson is a
practicing attorney and is the General Counsel for the Indiana State
Teachers' Retirement Fund.
