Read the Bible at a pace you feel comfortable with. Plans are interchangeable so you can easily switch from a 1-year Bible reading plan to a 2-5-year plan and back again.
Each year also includes a choice of reading 5, 6, or 7 days a week, making it a truly adaptable plan!
If you begin with a one-year reading plan and find that it's too fast-paced for you, you can always slow it down right where you are by switching plans. Easy-peasy! Likewise, if you begin with a five-year plan and find it slower than you'd like, just switch up!
And don't feel like you have to do the entire day's bible reading in one sitting. You can choose to do a reading in the morning and another one in the evening. Or, you might want to do a little reading three times a day. It's totally up to you!
The journal is sectioned by readings with three on each page.
There is dedicated space for each reading for you to note key verses or words that stand out to you or those you might want to research further. Or you might want to use this space to note your favorite verse(s) within that reading. Simply put, whatever stands out to you should go in this space.
With 10 journaling lines for each reading, you can choose to write a brief summary, note how the reading applies to you today, write a prayer, or jot down questions you want to ask your leader or research later. There is no wrong way. It's really up to you as to how you will use the journaling space.
There is no need to overwhelm yourself by reading the Bible as if you are trying to win a race. Reading the Bible is about building your personal relationship with God, not getting to the end as fast as possible. The reality is that some people have the time to take in four chapters every day while many do not. That's why I developed this flexible plan.
