Writer/director De Miller crafts this retelling of the Biblical story of Joseph set in the 1970s. The story centers on an optimistic young Christian named Joe (Evan Schwalb), whose faith makes him a the target of a cruel joke hatched by his older brother Denny (Neil Schwalb) and Denny's mischievous college pals. Upon convincing Joe that he has received a letter from enigmatic billionaire Howard Hughes (Jeff Wise), the group watches in amusement as Joe spends all of his money for a plane ticket to Las Vegas, and a meeting with the wealthiest man in America. Convinced that God was sincere in his promise that good will ultimately triumph, Joe finds his capacity for forgiveness tested when the "harmless" prank yields unexpected consequences.
