The other, the child of a wealthy trader who is suffocated by the weight of his his father's expectations of him. Forced together by their Queen to achieve the impossible-to fix the human condition-Pax and Fey must first figure out how to get to Earth, then how to save it. Told from two perspectives, those of Pax and Fey, the reader finds themself changing who they relate to the most as the inner struggle of each dragon is laid bare. Their inner struggles play out while the two work together to understand their mission and, by necessity, one-another and themselves.
