Imprisoned in a mountain cell, Maria, Jupiter and Darius are soon helped out by an old friend, with their being released in the process. Maria has her hands full, or at least her mind, once exiting the cell. She quickly starts to become what she fears the most, the Destroyer. Instantly thousands of voices begin filling her head, growing louder as time goes by, with it slowly driving her mad. Only one thing will make the voices go away, yet losing her powers like she did, has transformed her back into the girl she once was, sweet and innocent. This has made her task all the more difficult, as she could use the old Maria right about now. Jasmine's desperate to gather the power she needs, taking it anyway she can, trapping souls inside of her in the process. She's had this plan in mind for a while and nothing will stand in her way. Maria soon runs into the source of her head's voices, with a quite surprising result. Death and destruction follow her wherever she goes. In her master plan, the strongest of the strongest become the top targets for Jasmine, with of course Maria and Jupiter being at the top of her list. Will Maria be able to defeat Jasmine in a rematch? Not likely, yet a rematch seems inevitable, that is, if Jasmine has her way. Stopping the voices in Maria's head becomes her main priority, until they're asked by an old friend if they'll help him. Maria knows that she'll have to fight Jasmine one way or the other, but she doesn't let that intimidate her. They change their focus onto a more important task, getting a few special people to safety, no matter what the cost.
