On October 15, 1996, I decided to kill myself. Why? This is my story.
This is the Author's third book. It is a detailed sequel to her first book titled "A Victim of
Boards of Directors - Based On A True Story" published by iUniverse in 2011.
In 1980, Noie earned her MBA degree from the University of California, Berkeley, a top
ranked university in the United States. Between May 1981 and May 1995, she had a successful
career as a senior administration executive and project manager for projects valued between
$25,000 and $200,000
In her six year career with Hewlett-Packard (Canada) Ltd., her accomplishments were
reflected in performance evaluations with the second highest rating possible, i.e. "very good".
The Hewlett-Packard Board of Directors awarded her thousands of dollars in stock options
in recognition of her exceptional performance as a senior manager.
Besides success in her professional business career, Noie also achieved a great deal of success
in her personal development through public speaking. She joined Toastmasters International
in 1987 as a member of the Oakville/Trafalgar club. Within two years, she was elected as
club President. Two years later, she was elected as Area Governor for four clubs in Oakville
and Mississauga.
In 1994, Noie started her own consulting them which grossed more than $183,000 in
fifteen months.
In 1995, she was wrongfully alleged to be at fault for unacceptable behavior toward clients.
This true story is about what the Boards of Directors of three organizations did to ruin her
business, exemplary reputation and life for no legitimate reason. The allegations against her
and her company involved directors nationwide in Canada. Refer to EXHIBIT TEN in the
appendix of this book.
Readers of her books will be able to follow her twenty-eight plus years' fight to restore
her reputation. The primary goals of her books are to clear her name and to be vindicated in
the court of public opinion.
