Accusations is the second in a series of historical and political fiction books set during the era of the American Civil War. This second novel covers the years 1862 and 1863. While these novels are primarily the story of three American presidents (James Buchanan, Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Johnson), many other significant actors contributed to the unfolding drama. This second novel covers events during 1862 and 1863, and makes use of vignettes (short, impressionistic scenes).
