After her escape from captivity with Odessa of Pavrenes, Arabella realizes she cannot follow her friend home. Odessa belongs there; Arabella does not. In fact, Arabella no longer belongs anywhere. With no place to go, Arabella joins the Mystio with the hopes of finding the First Constellation.
Despite success in locating the other lieutenant of the First Constellation, Arabella and her companions are not prepared for the battle. Imprisoned once again, Arabella must escape to finish what she started. Yet freedom, whatever that means, may be too far out of reach.
Arabella feels insecure after constant defeat. She fears she may not be able to do this alone and desperately wishes to reunite with Odessa. If Arabella cannot find herself amidst betrayal and loss, the First Constellation will win. Can Arabella become as brave and confident as her friend and, more importantly, claim her own identity as a hero?
