Beginner Series: Bass Method Level V (Volume 5) gives an introduction to the slap bass playing technique and includes more in depth musical theory such as harmonization of the major scale, analyzing progressions, chord inversions, as well as major scale modes. The volume concludes with rhythmic exercises, where cut time and swung 8th notes are explained, followed by ear training exercises.
