The main character, an elephant named Elle, and her elephant friends are bullied by a female in their grade. The perpetrator, Andrea, is a tiny yellow chickadee. Elle and her friends contemplate responding to Andrea by seeking revenge, distancing themselves, and resigning to the fact that Andrea's mean statements about them are true. However, with the help of Elle's wise neighbor, an owl named Mr. Sherbakoff, Elle and her friends confront and forgive Andrea.
