Volume 2 of a Ben Solomon trilogy. The story begins at Ringtown, a 950 B.C. trade center of what is now North America. Abel rescues Summer Moon, his first love after being shipwrecked in Cuesteca land. He meets a fellow mariner and member of the Lady Marnah Brotherhood. Together, amid troubles and obstacles, they set off to find the copper fields of Kuybera, where Abel hopes to find a ship that will return him to his father, King Solomon, and the Hebrew Nation.
