All over the world there is poverty, and more often than not, poverty is accompanied by a feeling of hopelessness. For one impoverished young girl from North Carolina, dressed in clothes made from feed sacks and wearing shoes held together with duct tape and cardboard, this hopelessness would turn to hope thanks to a man called Jesus. In Beyond Cherry Mountain, author Lily Brassica shares her heartfelt personal testimony of how she found hope, faith, and inspiration in Jesus.
