I did a portrait a day for Black History Month of figures who were black, contributed or were contributing, to America in some outstanding way. I did them on my way to work, or whenever I was commuting (I'm @commuteartist on Instagram). My peers enjoyed the artwork and learned interesting facts about these amazing black figures who lived throughout history so I decided to share them with the world.
