Rose Valentine owns and operates an adult entertainment establishment called The Thorny Rose near the small North Central Florida town of Tuckton. She runs a clean, legal place and no one in town bothers her.
However, Rose has a very dark secret that only a trusted few know about and they protect her fiercely. She has a thirst for blood, killing predatory men who try to take advantage of young women. In the past, she'd been dubbed names like Rose Blood and The Valentine's Day Killer.
Now two other killers, an ex-military soldier turned professional hitman and a psychosexual serial murderer, both end up in Tuckton as well as a curious detective. Their paths converge at The Thorny Rose one hot summer night.
