This series by artist Katie Brennan was inspired by the idea of geological time and waves of sediment that built up slowly to create the Rocky Mountains. To achieve the layered depth and movement, she used pools of paint atop other paint as it dried. Our reproduction preserves the smooth, deft strokes and luminous hues.
