Bus Ride is the experiences of a unique group of passengers that want to travel to Washington, DC to join in the inaugural celebration of America's first African American President. They all live in and around the southern city of Pensacola, Florida. The group of people on the bus are a wide collection of societies up and comers, to the down and out, they each have had life experiences which qualifies their different points of view.
The two bus's traveling to Washington, DC are sponsored by the local catholic dieses. They want to place one of their priests on each bus to learn the ways and traditions of a potential new flock of southern well-wishers. Everyone on the bus has their own reasons for making the long bus journey to the Inaugural Swearing-in Ceremony. Some make the trip for spiritual enlightenment, some to join in the party atmosphere and some for ill-gotten gain.
