The great sorcerer Merlin envisions a dark future following the sudden death of King Uther, and elects to install Arthur, Uther's untested, impetuous heir. Already faced with uniting a war-torn kingdom, the new King is also faced with the constant machinations of his half-sister, Morgan, who would do anything to claim the throne for herself.
