What would you do if you discovered human in your pie? What would you do if you delivered pizza to someone you were sure hadn't left their flat in months? Or if, each time you left the shop, you took your life in your hands? Would you report the scally who kicked the obese farm bred turkey around the warehouse with his mates? Would it put you off your dinner? Would it make you order more? Fast food epitomizes the excess that so many of us don't even think about. We don't ask about the antibiotics in our chicken, how the curry sauce was made or even if eating foods with no vegetables or nutrition is a sensible thing to do. We're happy with the comfort of fat, the succulence of sugar and the excitement of indulging ourselves - no questions asked. At least until we step on the scales...
