Coffee Without Cream ... the not so sweet wakeup call is a collection of modern poetry devised of two subjects. The first dives into my experiences of love and heartbreak, while the second confronts challenging themes of grief and addiction. I, Kalena Johnson, began writing at a young age to express life's many complexities. With these poems, I look forward to sharing my experiences with kindred spirts and am hopeful that my words find way to open up hearts and stimulate minds. I invite fellow seekers of insight and understanding to explore the depths of my art, trusting that it will serve as a catalyst for further introspection and connection.
