Smithson is a super-hacker. He's a devotee of first person shooter video games. No longer content with cybercrime, of controlling his victims from the shadows, he is becoming a character in a real world game. It is a game of weapons, maneuver, and death.
Paul Hull is a former Air Force Combat Controller, a nearly anonymous component of United States Special Operations. He completed multiple combat deployments in the Global War On Terror, fighting alongside more well known units such as SEAL Team 6 and Delta Force. He is now medically retired after a serious parachute accident, living with his wife in a small town in Ohio.
Smithson and the Hulls cross paths at a lonely site in Indiana, the birthplace of Wilbur Wright, one of the pioneers of powered flight.
They become adversaries in a deadly game that plays out across a number of historic sites related to the Wright Brothers, a game that reaches a lethal conclusion in three short days.
