Former Silver Apple Xian Hawkins--aka Sybarite-- deftly weaves his loops and blips into a larger fabric of organic sound, creating music that is both slinky and warm. Hawkins recorded several albums for the Temporary Residence label before switching to the 4AD label in 2006, and gifted them with one last collection of older, unreleased works, including that snake-charmer of a title track.
