Bob's mind is conflicted. The left side always wants adventure while the right side develops sheer terror of what is about to happen. Karen is a non-athlete that is normally calm, but this adventure at age 65 has unsettled Karen. They could quit, but Bob has been planning this trip for over 30 years.
