Diary of a Medium
is a chest of sorts. In it, all the secrets of a Basque young man are kept. Following the signs he keeps on receiving, he travels to Montreal to study under Marilyn Rossner, the most prominent medium in the world. The moment they meet, she tells him: “I was waiting for you. I knew that one day you would come.” The trip changes Mikel’s life to such an extent that he no longer thinks about going back home.
In Montreal, training to become a medium, he finally feels like he belongs. With Marilyn and her team, Mikel Lizarralde learns what he needs to do what he is destined to do: helping people by delivering messages from the spirits.
In his diary, Mikel shares his early experiences as a medium, his first ceremonies and contacts with spirits, his fears and longings, and his struggle to trust in his own power. Once back in Spain, he begins another journey: that of becoming one of the most acclaimed mediums in the world.
